Italian Greyhound

Italian Greyhound (Piccolo Levriero Italiano)

The Italian Greyhound is an ancient breed of dog, smallest of the sighthounds, that has been popular in Italia for over a thousand years.

Depictions of Italian Greyhounds can be found in frescos at the ancient city of Pompeii, on mosaics with Roman Emperors, and also in art by Giotto, the first great artist of the Renaissance.
